Hi Everyone,

Well, the Poelstra family just enjoyed a very lovely meal at our new neighbors. Fusion, World Cuisine, opened the doors tonight for family and friends to practice and be ready for the grand opening tomorrow, Monday, Sept. 28th. They will be open for dinner, 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. I guess they will only be open for dinner for the first while to get everything in perfect running order. We had the Fusion soup, their appetizers of shrimp, egg rolls and salads. Then our dinner was their stir fry beef with 2 different rices. Everything tasted wonderful. I believe you're all going to love this new restaurant. When you go in this week, tell them you heard about the opening from us. We love to help our neighbors.

Hey, do you want to hear wonderful news? Ron found the problem with our credit card machine. I guess the DNS wasn't pointing to the right location. Whatever that means! I say; put a GPS on that thing, point it in the right direction and keep running our credit cards! We are so excited to know that there will be no more frustrations concerning the checkout line. Yippee! Thanks again for being patient with us while working out this problem. Thank you Ron!!!

BITHELL FRUIT & FISH ORDERS ARE NOW CLOSED: I'll be placing the order this week and we should receive shipment between the end of October and early November. I'll be in touch with each one who ordered and let you know as soon as I hear something from Bithell. Hopefully we'll get about 7 days notice. Pickup will be in the Kohl's parking lot.

TAMALES: We will be carrying tamales from now through the holidays.
We've got pork and chicken tamales for sampling, while supplies last.
We'll have tamales on the store shelves by about noon on Friday but we'll be taking orders for this tastey food so that we know how many to have in stock. When you come in to shop, we'll have a sign up sheet for ordering. We'll have our first delivery on Oct. 9th for everyone who orders and then keep ordering from now until the New Year. These will be wonderful for your holiday parties and are only $8.50 for a half dozen. These are the best pork and chicken tamales we've had. I think you'll agree.

RAJAA IS BACK: Our wonderful Rajaa is going to start supplying her food again. We'll have her wonderful humus, stuffed grape leaves, tabouleh, etc. Please support her business by remembering to come in for her specialties.

Have you ever had Cheeseburger Soup? Well, you won't have to wait for long. Come in later this week and try some.

CO-OPS: Falcon and Castle Rock co-op price lists are on the website.
We've had a little trouble getting enough orders for our Castle Rock delivery. If you live in that area and want to give our delivery service a try, please place your order by going to www.tasteoflifestores.com, click on the link in the right margin labeled "Link for Special Orders". Log on to that website or go to "click to register". Oonce you're logged in, you'll see the ordering lists in the left margin for either Castle Rock or Falcon. Let me know if you have any questions.

MONTANA GRAIN SALE: The deadline is coming closer. Oct. 7th is it so don't delay anymore. I also need prepayment in the form of cash or check by Oct. 7th. Send me an email if you have any questions about grains.

BREADMAKING CLASS and/or JAM/SCONE CLASS: I have a few openings for my breadmaking class this coming Thursday, Oct. 1st. It's from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at my kitchen facility. The fee is only $10 to learn how to grind your own flour, make bread, pizza, cheesesticks and also cinnamon rolls. You'll need to come hungry to enjoy all these goodies. Let us know asap if you'd like to join us. I was requested to do another jam/scone class so I've scheduled one for Thursday Oct. 8th. The fee is
$18 but I'll supply all the necessary ingredients for making jam and 4 different types of scones. It's a lot of hands-on fun. Come enjoy some tea and scones.
