Hello Everyone,
I'm a little late in getting this email out this week. We had a big weekend and I was a little tired. Here are some updates on what's new.
MILK PRICES: Good news! We were able to lower our milk prices again.
Now our gallons are only $2.80! We love it when we can pass savings onto our customers.
FISH & SALMON SALE DEADLINE: You have until Wednesday to place your order. I'd like to place the order by Wednesday at 4:00 pm so I'm closing the link by that time on July 22nd. Please don't delay in placing your orders. We'll receive shipment of the fish this week and will have it available for pickup on Saturday, July 25. The fish will be fresh so we'd strongly suggest making arrangements to pickup on Saturday. However, if you can't pickup on Saturday, we'll put your order in the freezer for safe-keeping.
NEW ITEMS IN THE STORE: Snapea Crisps are back. You've gotta try them if you aren't familiar with them. They are such a light little healthy snack. If you haven't noticed, we've got chicken bites back on the shelf. Also the spicey chicken bites variety. These were definitely brought back by popular demand. Now for 2 new entrees. The Lamb Shepherd's Pie has been a huge success. And if you think you liked our pot pies before, you'll have to try our new pork pot pie made with a very tender sirloin pork roast and delicious homemade gravy. Oh, and by the way, Joseph took the peas out of the beef pot pie and put in corn instead. One last new thing; we've got a new bread. Dilly Onion, and it's good! It's wonderful as a sandwich with any variety of meats, or as a side with dinner.
WE'RE JAMMING: Guess what I did today! I made jam, lots of jam. We'll have strawberry, seedless raspberry and seedless marion blackberry on the shelves to start with. These are made with the wonderful Bithell fruits and seedless purees. I've never tasted more flavorful jam.
You'll have to try it and see if you agree.
CASTLE ROCK CO-OP: We've planned to deliver the Castle Rock co-op this Wednesday. However, we only have such a small amount of orders that we won't be able to deliver unless we get a few more. Is anyone in the Larkspur, Castle Rock, Denver, Parker, Elizabeth area, etc. why not check out the link on the old website and see if it would help you by allowing us to deliver your groceries closer to your home. Let me know if you have any questions.
I've got one more breadmaking class this Thursday. I believe the class is full. Unless I hear from a number of you, after this Thursday I believe we'll take a break from the classes for a time.. As soon as I hear from enough people who express interest we'll plan another class.
Well, come see us soon. We'll have the coffee on and the smoothies flowing.
See ya,
Donna
