I hope you've all had a wonderful weekend. I'm loving this beautiful weather. I know it's January and we shouldn't be surprised with cold weather but let's revel in this while we've got it!
DINNER DEAL: Well, there's a lot of people asking for a dinner deal so here it is. If you purchase $50 worth of groceries you can pick out a free frozen individual entree. If you spend $75 you can get a free mid sized meal and then if you spend $100 you can pick out a free frozen large entree. No rainchecks, limited to supplies on hand.
ODWALLA SPECIALS: We are going to have our Odwalla nutritional drinks on special starting Tuesday afternoon (when I get my delivery). We'll have a special of buy 2 for $5.00 on these drinks: the superfoods, pink poetry, red rhapsody, mobeta and berries go mega. We'll have this special for 2 weeks, lasting until February 1st. Then the next 2 weeks we'll do the special on other Odwallas. I'm really excited to have you try all of these to pick out your favorites. They are the most flavorful way to get nutrients in our bodies and it's so important to keep our health up during the bug season. Definitely take advantage of this sale time to give these a try. If anyone would like to stock up on some flavors, I can take orders to get some extras in.
FALCON CO-OP: This week Thursday is the delivery for our Falcon customers. Please place your order by Tuesday at the latest. We will deliver to the Falcon Walmart parking lot on Thursday, Jan. 21st from 4-5pm. Go to www.tasteoflifestores.com, click on "link for special orders" in the right margin and then log on and see the list in the left margin.
BREADMAKING CLASS: I have one more spot in my class which is scheduled for this Thursday, Jan 21st. If you'd like to be a part of this class, the fee is $10 and the class is held from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. We'll make bread, pizza, cheesesticks and cinnamon rolls. It's hands-on fun. If I need to schedule another class, I'll do that the following Tuesday or Thursday. Let me know if you'd like to come to that class with some friends. We'll get the class scheduled.
NEW SOUP: Joseph has done it again. We have a new cream of mushroom soup. Very tastey! Come in for a sample.
2 FAVORITE DINNERS ARE BACK: We brought back our Spaghetti Deluxe and the Italian Sausage Lasagna this last week. Yup, just like we thought, they flew off the shelf. We've got a few Italian lasagnas left in the freezer but Joe will have to make more spaghetti on Tuesday and get more in. They really really are very good. It's obvious by the . Come in and give us your opinion.
TAMALES: I've decided to get fresh tamales every other Friday, so this coming Friday is the day. I will order about 15 packages of each chicken and pork to come in with our salsa on Friday. If anyone wants to place an order, please call our store by Tuesday before noon or it will be first come first serve.
SUPERBOWL SUNDAY: We're going to have some great snackie things for Superbowl. We'll make sure we have plenty of our whole wheat pizzas, but please, let me know if you'd like to reserve some pizzas to be sure you have them for your weekend. We'll definitely have our spicey chicken bites as well as our regular chicken bites with Joseph's tastey ranch dip. We'll talk more of this as the time gets closer.
